As advocates we have been honored to attend numerous events and speaking engagements to help raise awareness and help effect change to create a safer place in this world for all. We have also been hosts for Blog Talk Radio shows and Your Voice Radio Network.

Emergency management and Deaf CERT planning for the community
ADAS Director Mark Ehrlichmann and Advocate Lee Roberts met with Okaloosa County Emergency Operations Coordinator Ken Wolfe yesterday to discuss collaborative efforts to improve relations with, to improve communication access, and develop CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) Training for Deaf Community. A great meeting and start towards building a more inclusive community and opportunities for the Deaf.
